EQ-i 2.0

“GIFTED LEADERSHIP OCCURS WHEN HEART AND HEAD — FEELING AND THOUGHT — MEET. THESE ARE THE TWO WINDS THAT ALLOW A LEADER TO SOAR.

– Daniel Goleman

ABOUT THE EQ-i 2.0

Emotional intelligence was popularized in the mid 1990s by Daniel Goleman with his book, Emotional Intelligence: Why it Can Matter More Than IQ, even though it was acknowledged as important decades prior. Since then, it’s widely accepted that emotional intelligence skills are critical for building relationships and teams, resolving conflict, solving problems, leading effectively, and building resilience. In fact, many experts argue that a higher emotional intelligence is the difference between good leaders and successful leaders.

The EQ-i 2.0 is a validated, detailed assessment that highlights areas of strength and potential areas for development. It also provides suggested strategies for bringing one’s EQ competencies into balance for greater effectiveness.

HOW ANNA WORKS WITH EQ-i 2.0

Emotional Intelligence (EI) can be defined as a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way. The best leaders are on a constant path to grow and improve their emotional intelligence. Anna uses EQ-i 2.0 tools with leaders and their teams to help them identify areas of emotional intelligence to improve and provides them strategies to track and measure progress through one-on-one coaching and group workshops.

WHAT EQ-i 2.0 PROVIDES

The EQ-i 2.0 tools provide a detailed assessment of areas of strength and potential areas for development. A comprehensive report provides assessment takers with their overall results and presents these using the five EQ composite areas:

  • Self-Perception
  • Self-Expression
  • Interpersonal
  • Decision Making
  • Stress Management

The report breaks down each of these 5 composites into 15 competencies and provides a detailed interpretation of how effectively they are using them and how, by balancing these competencies, they can significantly improve their well-being, workplace and leadership performance, interpersonal relationships and communication.
